Bourns Introduces FLP Series LTCC Low-Pass Filters Covering DC to 3.8 GHz

The filters are available in multiple package sizes and target wireless communication applications including IoT, LTE, GNSS and 5G.

Built using LTCC multilayer ceramic construction, the FLP Series integrates passive elements into a single monolithic component, reducing component count in compact RF designs.

Nine Models Cover Multiple Wireless Frequency Bands

The FLP Series consists of nine filter models covering frequency ranges from DC to 3800 MHz.

The FLP1004N089D4 supports 824 MHz to 960 MHz, while the FLP1606N078D6 covers 600 MHz to 960 MHz. For higher-frequency applications, the FLP1608N250D6 operates from 2300 MHz to 2700 MHz, and the FLP1606N355D6 targets the 3300 MHz to 3800 MHz 5G frequency band.

The FLP2009N025D8 covers applications from DC to 500 MHz, while the FLP2009N086D8, FLP2009N091D8, and FLP2009N092D8 support sub-GHz wireless frequency bands between 858 MHz and 960 MHz. Completing the family, the FLP2009N141L3 provides the broadest operating range, covering 800 MHz to 2025 MHz.

Depending on the model selected, maximum insertion loss ranges from 0.50 dB to 1.50 dB, with all devices specified for operation from -40 °C to +85 °C.

LTCC Construction Reduces Board Space

All FLP Series devices use LTCC multilayer ceramic construction, integrating multiple passive elements into a single compact component. This reduces component count and PCB area while providing a reliable filtering solution for space-constrained RF designs.

The filters are available in package sizes ranging from 1.0 × 0.5 × 0.4 mm up to 2.0 × 1.25 × 0.95 mm, allowing designers to select devices based on frequency and size requirements.
