While CXMT has not publicly confirmed that it has produced fully working LPDDR6 devices, reports suggest that the company has completed its initial research and development phase. The next step will involve small-batch production verification, where manufacturing processes and equipment are tested before moving towards full-scale production.

The announcement comes shortly after SK hynix revealed that it plans to begin moving towards LPDDR6 production in the second half of 2026.
